100 Hours of Giving
Our anniversary was also the kickoff of our 100 Hours of Giving campaign for The Backyard, a multipurpose outdoor space at the Sally Cheever Girl Scout Leadership Center. Every gift makes a difference toward building this exciting new backyard for all girls.

You donated $134,558 in 100 hours, surpassing our goal of $100,000. The Sally and Charlie Cheever Foundation matched the first $100,000, bringing the total raised to $234,658. That's incredible!

Scheduled to open in 2025, The Backyard will feature trails and camp training space, a treetop boardwalk and treehouse, an amphitheater and bridge, an adventure course, archery range, outdoor classroom, and more. The facility will provide an accessible space for all to learn leadership skills through outdoor programming.
